TOGETHER, WE CAN ENSURE THAT THE FESTIVAL CONTINUES TO THRIVE—AND THAT IT ENDURES AS LONG AS THE TIMELESS MUSIC IT CELEBRATES.

Beginning in 1935, the Grant Park Music Festival operated as a department of the Chicago Park District. With the opening of Millennium Park in 2004, a new public-private partnership was born. Today, donations offset more than 65% of the Festival’s operating budget. We will soon depend on those gifts to cover 90% of the Festival’s costs.

AN ENDOWMENT FUND FOR OUR FESTIVAL’S FUTURE

Festival Forever is a special $15 million fundraising campaign to create a robust endowment fund that will help sustain the Festival for decades to come.

Lead supporters have contributed more than $13 million to date! We are now asking the entire Festival community to help us reach our campaign goal before the end of 2025.

TO KEEP THE FESTIVAL FREE, WE NEED YOUR HELP TODAY

  • Make an endowment gift to sustain the Festival for years to come.
  • Consider a pledge that is payable over the next few years.
  • Invest in programs that engage and nurture the next generation.
