Sergio Carleo, ViolinProject Inclusion Fellows

Originally from Venezuela, violinist Sergio Carleo has performed numerous concerts as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician in different venues in South America, North America, Europe and Cuba. He debuted as a soloist in Venezuela, where he performed with the Simon Bolivar Orchestra under the direction of maestro Gustavo Dudamel. He has been awarded first prize at the Maurice Hasson National Violin Competition and Grand Prix winner of the LISMA Foundation International Music Competition, which allowed him to make his first American debut at Carnegie Hall. He recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree with honors in violin performance from Lynn University. He is currently a Violin Fellow with the New World Symphony.
