Chelsea Sharpe, ViolinProject Inclusion Fellows

A native of Duluth, Georgia, violinist Chelsea Sharpe has performed with the Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra, the Young Musicians Foundation Debut Orchestra, and the Houston Latin American Philharmonic.  A graduate of the Atlanta Symphony’s Talent Development program, she is the winner of several competitions, including the Georgia Philharmonic Young Artist Concerto Competition, the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition, and the Ruth Kern Young Artist Concerto Competition, among others.  She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance from Rice University and a Master of Music degree in violin performance from the University of Southern California. In 2004 Ms. Sharpe was the subject of a joint Atlanta Symphony Orchestra/Georgia Public Television (GPTV) documentary entitled Instrumental Success with her former teacher, ASO violinist Ronda Respess. She is currently a Violin Fellow with the New World Symphony.
