Carnival of the Animals

Description

A menagerie of creatures descends upon the Grant Park Orchestra when guest conductor Norman Huynh presents this family-friendly program, conjuring everything from an assembly of irritable mountain trolls to hoppity kangaroos to ivory-tickling pianists. Tortoises make their appearance via the can-can in slo-mo while the mythical Orpheus sets out on his journey to the underworld with a rousing rendition of the very same tune.
