The Festival salutes the musicians of the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus, especially those who've served our city and this organization for more than four decades, including Tom Yang (Violin - 40 years), Peter Szczepanek (Assitant Principal Cello - 41 years), Doug Wadell (Percussion - 41 years), Larry Glazier (Cello - 44 years), Joel Cohen (Assistant Principal Percussion - 45 years), Gene Collard (Assistant Principal Clarinet and Bass Clarinet - 44 years) and Jan Jarvis (Chorus Bass - 48 years).
