Project Inclusion Fellow Allison Lovera in Recital

I can't wait to make music with the Project Inclusion fellows. This is going to be a great summer!

Like most performing artists, violinist Allison Lovera watched an entire ecosystem of creativity move underground during the past year and a half. Once a part of Venezuela's famed national music program El Sistema, Lovera had won a Project Inclusion fellowship in the 2020 Grant Park Music Festival before public gatherings were cancelled for the rest of the year. She's back for the 2021 Festival, and is also a member of the newly formed Kanaas Dúo with pianist David Córdoba. In their inaugural performance, a virtual recital, they performed music by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and more for the National Arts Club.
