Festival HD

A multimedia experience like no other, the Grant Park Music Festival's premiere multimedia concert series presents live orchestra with spectacular visuals augmented by a giant LED screen inside the Jay Pritzker Pavilion.

In 2022, the Festival presents three programs in HD: the annual Independence Day Salute (July 2), Cirque Goes to Hollywood, featuring high-flying aerialists and acrobats (July 6) and Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty (August 17).

Debuting in June of 2019, Festival HD kicked off the season with violinist Benjamin Beilman, Carlos Kalmar and the Grant Park Orchestra. Chorus Director Christopher Bell took the podium for the ever popular Independence Day Salute, and Carlos Kalmar returned for Flight of the Bumblebee. For the summer of 2020, the Festival produced footage from these performances for an all-new, socially distanced, virtual concert experience. See the videos.
