Description
Each summer, the Grant Park Music Festival brings music and fun to neighborhoods across Chicago featuring the Festival's String Fellows in an eclectic mix of music for string quartet. Bring a blanket or picnic chair and join us in your neighborhood park for a free, hour-long, family-friendly concert.
The Grant Park Music Festival String Fellows will play instruments provided by Violins of Hope, a private collection of violins, violas, and cellos that once belonged to Jewish musicians before and during the Holocaust. The presentation of these instruments is hosted by JCC Chicago.
